Neurofeedback is useful in recovering the ability to perform fine movements, in diminishing tremors, because it works on the neural networks and it also helps balance Dopamine levels. It is well known that Parkinson disease’s symptoms appear when the person has already lost approximately 75% of the black matter’s neurons.

          Nowadays, there is the method called profound cerebral stimulation that helps reestablish neuronal activity, but the downfall is the fact that it involves a neurosurgical intervention in order to implant a device similar to a pacemaker. This is the reason why it might be more convenient to adopt a more natural method, such as neurofeedback, either traditional or electromagnetic field stimulation on the scalp, through LENS technique.

          This technique is successfully applied only on early and moderate stages, and it is less applied when the patient has reached a severe stage, and when he/she is confined to a wheelchair.
